Heath ledger memorial service - private funeral

HEATH Ledger's family has left his memorial service in Perth after more than 600 friends and family farewelled the actor. His family and former fiancee Michelle Williams left by a side entrance ahead of his private funeral.

The guests at the service, held at Penhros College, a private girls' school in the south Perth suburb of Como, included model Gemma Ward and a number of actors, such as Cate Blanchett and Rose Byrne, as well as close friends and family.

Ledger's body is expected to be cremated in Fremantle this afternoon before a wake at a beachside restaurant in Perth's western suburbs

Lutfi admits he Drugged Spears via her food for months - so she's not bipolar ? her mom's declaration

Lynne Spears, who has had a strained relationship with her daughter, said that in October last year Mr Lutfi had “essentially moved into Britney’s home and has purported to take control of her life, home and finances”.

She described to the court a long chaotic night inside her daughter’s Beverley Hills home in the days before she was put on “mental health evaluation hold”.

Lynne Spears said there were a string of disagreements between her daughter and Mr Lutfi. Sam said to Lynne:"If you try to get rid of me, she'll(britney) be dead and I'll piss on her grave."

To keep Britney quiet Mrs Spears claimed that her manager said he ground up drugs and put them in her food. “He told us that the doctor who is treating her now is trying to get her into a sleep-induced coma so that they could then give her drugs to heal her brain.”

Late that same evening, she said Britney decided she needed to go shopping for lipstick. Before they left the house, she said Mr Lutfi took Britney upstairs and gave her something “to make her more lighthearted, happy and fun.”

Throughout the evening Britney’s mother claims that paparazzi were present in the house and that they were being corralled by Mr Lutfi.

“The paparazzi reported to Sam and addressed him with great respect,” she said. “They treated him like a general.

More shockingly, Lynne says in her declaration that drugs were all in the food at britneys place and she was even drugged by eating there: : I spent the rest of the night at Britney's house and for the first time in a very long time, when I lay down to sleep, I felt very agitated. I could not fall asleep at all. I felt like I had had coffee. Jackie, who had gone home earlier, later told me that she also could not sleep at all, and felt like she had had coffee.
Jamie came to pick me up the next morning. Jamie gave Britney a big hug and said to her, "baby, you're OK?" Britney said, "I'm fine," then burst into tears.

Heath Ledger, second autopsy results due today

The New York Chief Medical Examiner's Office is expected to release the results of Heath Ledger's autopsy today. The office is required by law to give cause and manner of death. No other details will be released.

Ledger was found dead, surrounded by pills but no illegal drugs were found on the premises.If the actor is found to have died of drugs not found in his apartment room, then an investigation will be taken.

The actor was found by a housekeeper and his masseuse, but there was a lapse of time between finding the body and calling the police.

It is known that the housekeeper made a number of calls to Mary-Kate Olsen before alerting authorities. Mary-Kate was the owner of the apartment and a friend of Ledger. While no foul play is expected, the cause of death may raise more questions than it answers. If the toxicity reports show that illegal drugs were in the body, further questions may be asked of the housekeeper, the masseuse and Mary-Kate.

Ledger's body is on its way back to Australia. His family departed LAX on Monday night (US time) and will arrive in Melbourne tomorrow morning before flying on to Perth for the funeral. Ledger will be buried next to his grandparents in the family plot at Karrakatta cemetery in Perth

Brit takes her dad to court to prevent him from controlling her assets & income

According to TMZ website yesterday: a lawyer for Trope and Trope (Brit's divorce/custody attorneys) went to UCLA to visit Britney. After being there a short time, one of the staff doctors asked the attorney to leave, because the co-conservators objected to the visit.

Sources say tomorrow, Trope and Trope will appear at the court hearing. Along with attorney Adam Streisand, who specializes in estate law, and ask that both co-conservators be removed. They will argue that the appointment of Jamie in particular is inappropriate given Britney's bitter feelings toward him and that Britney wants him out.

On Friday, the Commish appointed Jamie Spears and attorney Andrew Wallet as co-conservators. Trope lawyers and Streisand will ask that both conservators be replaced.

Sources say the Trope firm will not object to a conservatorship for Britney, but they'll ask that a different conservator be appointed.

Britney to stay in psych ward for 14 more days!

Papers apprantly will be signed at UCLA extending Britney Spears' stay at the psych ward -- by 14 days. It's an internal process -- done without a court order. But we're told it will indeed happen, and that's not surprising given her mental health. As we first reported, Britney's been diagnosed with severe bipolar disorder.
The ward Britney is in is considered one of the best in the nation for the treatment she is receiving.

Restraining order filed against Brits manager Sam Lutfi for stealing from her while in hospital ?

After Britney’s estranged father, Jamie won legal control over his daughter’s finances , medical care and estate at an emergency court hearing Friday, he and ex-wife Lynne returned to the house “shocked” to find valuable items of their daughter’s “had been stolen,” a source tells America’s Us Weekly magazine.

Jamie and Lynn called the police immediately to file a report.

Spears’ parents believe that items were taken after their daughter was taken to the UCLA Medical Center early Thursday morning.

Los Angeles Police officer Alex Martinez confirmed that police had responded to a call at Spears’ house, but did not know what had transpired.

“The report is being processed through our system,” he said. “We do not have access to it.”

At Friday’s hearing, Jamie won temporary legal control over his daughter. He also has full control of her residence and can legally remove anyone who is staying there until the next hearing, on Monday.

A 21-day civil harassment restraining order was also granted against Britney’s pal and & sometimes manager Sam Lutfi.
