Ashlee Simpson new ring and single but not pregnant

Ashlee Simpson showed up at 1515 Broadway yesterday afternoon as the first of two stops on a promotional gig to plug her new single “Outta My Head .” The "singer" was sporting some a sparkly ring on her engagement finger!

When asked by the show's host about the diamond ring on her left hand, she immediately joked that "no she was not pregnant" but yes, it was a promise ring from boyfriend Pete Wentz.
