OPrah Winfrey broke down in tears on her show after dedicating one episode to her dog Sophie.

Oprah actually had call an early break in order to compose herself after watching footage of her cocker spaniel, who died last month, stating “I’ve got to get myself together,” she told the audience, clutching a tissue with tears streaming down her face. “We’ll be right back.”

This Friday was Oprah’s “Puppy Mill” show day, in which she revealed the conditions that these dogs face. But one bit of footage she hadn’t overseen was the montage of photos and videos of the cocker spaniel, and she just couldn’t hold back her emotion when the footage ended and the cameras returned to the studio.

Apparently Beyond is getting Married to Jay-Z. Its rumoured both have taken out a marriage license in Westchester's Scarsdale Village, People magazine reported on its Web site today.

The pair got the license this morning, which means the earliest they could get hitched is Wednesday morning. Otherwise, it's good for 60 days.

A spokeswoman for Beyonce refused to comment, and Jay-Z's flack couldn't be reached for comment.

Heath Ledger, who died of an well known accidental drug overdose in his Manhattan apartment in January, was apparently 17 and a schoolboy in Perth, Western Australia, when he had a relationship with a 25-year-old woman.

The woman apparently found out she was pregnant with a baby girl after their relationship had ended. By that time she was living with another man. "There is a very real possibility that Heath was the father," the actor's uncle, Haydn Ledger, mentioned. Haydn Ledger is estranged from his brother Kim, Heath's father, and has defied requests by the family not to speak publicly about the actor's death.

Another member of the family said "She had the baby. Everyone lived under the assumption that she was the daughter of the mother's boyfriend and that is how she has been brought up,” the family member said.

Jessica Simpson out of hospital

Jessica Simpson is feeling "much better" after being hospitalized with a kidney infection.

Simpson was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Friday for a "minor kidney infection" and was released Monday, Simpson's representative Lauren Auslander told The Associated Press. In Touch magazine reported Simpson's hospitalization Monday.

According to the In Touch report, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, Simpson's current squeeze, wanted to be by Simpson's side but had prior commitments in Dallas.
Simpson is currently working on a country music album.
