Susan Boyle Loses Temper

Britain's Got Talent judge Piers Morgan has been asking the media and fans to back off after contestant Susan Boyle lost her temper with two strangers who had apparently been winding her up in a west London hotel. Police stationed at the hotel intervened in the situation. Susan, 48, was photographed talking to two police officers in the car park following the incident.

A spokesman for Boyle said: "The police were escorting a journalist from the premises who had been winding Susan up. Susan and her sister were talking to the police telling them what had happened." Morgan told a London radio station that the singer had been in floods of tears this week because of the pressure of competing but that the hotel incident had been massively exaggerated.

Lily Allen To Star In Neigbours

British pop star Lily Allen is set to star in long-running Australian soap opera Neighbours the makers of the show have confirmed. According to the soap's website the 24-year-old "wasted no time in accepting the offer". Allen will film her role next month while touring in Australia. Set in the fictional suburb of Erinsborough, Neighbours focuses on the residents of Ramsay Street - who over the years have included singer Kylie Minogue and Gladiator star Russell Crowe.

Susan Boyle has done it again with a beautiful version of Memories from the musical Cats. Despite a bum first not she quickly recovered and the judges and audience loved her. We love her too. Well done Susan.

Susan Boyle Through To Semis

Scottish singing sensation Susan Boyle has made it throught to the semi-finals of Britain's Got Talent. 40 semi-finalists will perform in five nightly ITV1 shows. Other acts through include an 11-year-old street dancer, a dancing dog and a group of performing farmers. They are all competing for the chance to perform at the Royal Variety Show and win a £100,000 cheque. Susan Boyle's celebrity fans include Jon Bon Jovi, Demi Moore, Larry King and Oprah Winfrey.
