Common cause ? - Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy + her husband - pneumonia and antidepressant connection

Heath Ledger, Brittany Murphy and her husband all died tragically and at a young age from pneumonia something old people  die from.. one thing they all had in common was they were on antidepressants which known to dramatically increase pneumonia risk.... now why wasn't this reported?

Young active, in their early 30s and the prime of their lives... this should not have happened.

Well this all has to do with the controversy about A 1995 study confirmed an "Observed association between antidepressant use and pneumonia risk". Later in 2000 further studies revoked this association but doctors were warned to not put eldery or at risk patients on to many antidepressants if they had risk factors.

But then in 2009 an article in December 14 online edition of Archives of Internal Medicine
challenged this again with some disturbing stats:

"antidepressant users were 45 percent more likely to experience strokes than women who weren't taking antidepressants.

The study also found that when overall death rates (all-cause mortality) were compared between the two groups, those on antidepressants had a 32 percent higher risk of death from all causes compared with non-users. "

The message is prescription medicine can kill, especially if abused or misdirected always check side effects first. No one is immune to the effects , even our celebrities like Michael Jackson, Brittany and Heath ... and the thousands of the public who perish needlessly ever year because of them.
